Aliza Munday
Aliza Munday is a sophomore from Stafford, Virginia, majoring in Finance and Economics at William & Mary. Her academic interests include data visualization, coding, and the intersection of technology and international relations. She joined STAIR Lab in Fall 2025, where she applies computational methods and statistical modeling to analyze political and media discourse. A fun full-circle moment for her—Aliza first discovered her interest in global affairs as a middle school Model United Nations delegate and now conducts research in the very same building where William & Mary’s Model UN conferences are held. Beyond the lab, Aliza spends most of her time in the business school, being involved in multiple clubs such as the Consulting and Investment Clubs. She is passionate about using quantitative analysis to explore global economic systems and their influence on policy and human rights.
