Samyuktha Mahadevan

Samyuktha graduated with honors in International Relations in 2019, writing a thesis in which she compared legislative rhetoric on gun control in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, using lexical analysis and topic modeling. She also developed an automated scraping tool for the Australian legislature, to look into that country’s gun control debate. Today, she works at the University of Virginia’s Karsh Institute of Democracy.
